Kate Loran
Kate Loran from the Ukraine is a photographer and HR manager who enjoys french musicals, movies, books, arts, music and more.
Kate joined Mousai Industries because she believes, "Art is a thing worth sharing." Kate has always been interested in the arts. She attended figure skating & sopilka classes when she was a child. She also went to an acting studio and played in school theater during her teen years. In 2004, Kate played in “Romeo and Juliet” and in 2005 recieved the role of Queen of Seas in the “Little Mermaid”.
In 2005, Kate also attended the sports school "Dynamo" where she took épée fencing lessons for two years. Later that year, following her love for sci-fi, she became a member of ukrainian Star Wars fan-club "Circle of The Force." Thus for a few years years she attended trainings of both olympic fencing and marital arts with “almost-real-lightsabers,” based on historical European swordsmanship and eastern marital arts. During that time she was a co-organizer of the archery tournament "Arrows of winds 2006" and Ukrainian Star Wars fans conventions KMF-2007 and KMF-2008.
After such great experience she became a photographer at the military history club "Putyvl" and participated in a couple of historical games and festivals from 2008 until 2013. She also she worked as a photographer/shooter at the basketball club "Scorpions" during the 2009/2010 season.
Later, she was also a part of the "Echelon" community where she has taken part in several projects, including street team promotion for 30 Seconds To Mars show in Kiev and shooting a video with greetings from Ukrainian Echelon to the band members (2010), shooting and editing a promo video for Echelon House "Every Little Bit Helps" and shooting a video at Kiev Blood Ball flashmob (2012). Kate also edited a couple of other 30 Seconds to Mars videos, which can be found on her
youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/KerryLoran/videos)
However, her true passion since school always was French musicals. In 2012, Kate edited a live music video from fan videos for "En Transe... ylvanie," by Gregory Deck, from the musical "Dracula, l'amour plus fort que la mort" and is looking forward to new video and photo experiences.
She's always believed the best way to play a role or to make a video is to become its essential and live it. Paying tribute to her love of rock music, in 2014 Kate took part in a greetings video for Justin and Malcolm of the band Black Lodge.
In 2013, Kate got a masters degree in human resources management, but sees her life only related to art, namely photography and videography, that, as she says, is the “Carpe Diem through the viewfinder.”
