There’s nothing worse than shopping for a bra and coming across bras that are poorly made as a whole. I mean, who designs these things? And I am referring from budget to top notch bras and that one popular brand out there. If wires aren’t poking, elastic is pinching or you are dealing with padding thick enough to insulate your home.

Ladies, let’s be honest, the right lingerie is like the perfect pair of shoes. The perfect pair of shoes can lift your soul and put skip in your step. At the same time, no matter how perfect that pair of shoes looks, there is nothing worse than trying on that gorgeous pair of shoes and being uncomfortable with every step. It can, down right, ruin your day. Lingerie is the same. Your lingerie can make you feel glamorous, feminine and perfect. But lingerie has to be designed just right and scream comfort.

Well, allow us to introduce you to the new Dita Von Teese line of lingerie found at Bloomingdales. We believe we have found the answer to all your boosme woes. Her line is of utter sophistication and screams of vintage inspiration. The designs are classic and feminine. Her collection is vintage glamour and power covered in satin and lace. Our favorite pick was the Sheer Witchery Balconette Countour bra. First, the name drew us in and screamed, “buy me!” From the darling satin bow nestled between the cups, to the cut out detail near the hook and eye closure, we knew we had our pick.

I mean, just look at the detail. How could you not be impressed?

Let’s start with the delicacy of the hanger. The gold detail of Dita Von Teese’s name in a ribboned dome is all glam.

You know time has gone into the detail of this line when even the tags are black with gold embroidered detail of Dita Von Teese’s name and the additional soft satin tags are gold. These tags will never scratch. They are soft as can be.

Now let’s look at the lace detail of the strap. These straps stretch which makes it perfect for comfortable long wear. You’ll never have to worry about pulling up the straps because the elastic will keep the straps up without a problem.

The cups are ever so delicately padded providing the perfect shape that will show off the lace detail of the cups and the sheer detail that lines the top of the cup.

At just $68 retail, the price is comparable to some of the bras that the other popular brand name out there carries, but trust me when I tell you, you are buying far superior quality. Surely to fly off the shelves, as we know with anything Dita Von Teese has put her essence into, we recommend you pick up your favorites because we are sure they will soon be impossible to find. If you don’t see your size available, do not be alarmed, we understand extended sizes are in the works.

We had the opportunity to attend a meet and greet at Bloomingdales with the one and only Dita Von Teese. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Dita Von Teese is real and not a figment of your imagination. She is exactly as you would imagine her to be - a picture of elegance. She is the definition of Hollywood glamour. As a matter of fact, we overheard tourists from Spain who were lingering wondering who was making an appearance. They observed that “todos estan vestidos como los 50s.” (Everyone is dressed from the 50s.) They were referring to the numerous fans waiting to meet Von Teese. When Von Teese emerged, they uttered “Que ermosa!” (What beauty!) We agree.

We can tell you that yes, Von Teese is a beauty. But she is not only beautiful on the outside, she’s beautiful on the inside, as well. She took the time to not only sign autographs for fans, but have a conversation with them and even take a few picture with them.

She complimented Ruiz on her style and told her she was glad she decided to come.
